The region has four major shopping centres but has also maintained numerous traditional markets and fairs where one can find local products and handicraft which are impossible to find through other distribution channels.

Open only during July & August, from 18h on weekdays (17h during the weekend) until midnight
This is the oldest handicraft fair of the country (first edition was held in 1963).
It is held in front of the Congress Centre of Estoril, near the Casino.
Over 300 craftsmen demonstrate their skills and sell their art and craft during the fair.
The fair features many food stands and restaurants specialised in regional dishes of Portugal.
An area with games and workshops is dedicated to children entertainment.
Every night, around 21h, there is a live performance: traditional dances, fado, singers, ...
Concluded in 2006, this 31.000 square metres multi fuctional area, featuring a 200 cars parking and 300 sales booths, hosts, on an on-going basis, two markets which were previously held in Cascais and the other in Alcabideche

the "Santa Casa da Misericórdia" fair previously held at the bullfighting ring in Cascais which was demolished a few years back.
