Museu Calouste Gulbenkian
Private collection of Calouste Gulbenkian, a wealthy 20th century collector. A particularly beautiful collection thanks to eclectic tastes and the rarity and value of most exhibits. Egyptian art, Roman and Greek coins, Chinese porcelain, Islamic carpets , glass and ceramics, European paintings dating from the Middle ages to early 20th century and decorative art. Worth a visit.

Museu Escola de Artes Decorativas
The Ricardo do Espiríto Santo Silva Foundation owns the Portuguese Museum-School for Decorative Arts, located in the Azurara Palace in the old Lisbon District. The Museum displays important collections of furniture, textiles, silverware, porcelain and paintings from the 15th to the 19th Centuries. Décor follows the ambience of an old Portuguese
aristocratic house. The Ricardo do Espírito Santo Silva Foundation has established 15 workshops for 21 traditional crafts devoted to
reproduction and restoration that can be visited by appointment.
