Casa da Encosta, a traditional renovated farmhouse with peaceful gardens and a secluded pool with splendid rural views. It is a superb algarvian style country home, completely renovated but keeping in with original trace. Set on a hillside, very quiet, with magnificent views over the countryside, the house is sunny and light. Casa da Encosta is the perfect place to relax. There is a sleepy traditional village within easy walk, where you will find a very typical and friendly atmosphere taverna and cafés, and a little shop with the essential products. You can stroll through the garden with fruit trees, scented lavender and rosemary and colourful boungainvilleas. Dinner "al fresco" in attractive terraces. This is a beautiful tranquil countryside setting where you can relax in secluded peace and calm.

Leisure
Mountain biking, cycling, horse riding, Golf - this is a golfers haven - you can play golf all year round. There are at least 10 golf courses within 15/20 minutes drive from "Casa da Encosta", including the Classic The Old Course, in Vilamoura. There is plenty of space at the house for storage of golf clubs.
For the children
It is very child friendly , totally enclosed and secure with garden and its pool , and with the additional facility of satellite TV, DVD and CD's, children will have plenty to do. Within 20 minutes drive there are 3 theme/water parks, crazy golf, dolphins shows and water slides etc... and the Marine Zoo.

The house is to very high specification, since the owner lives here for a part of the year. The property is stone walled in and has electric gates and video entry into secure area. A separate laundry room contains the washing machine. Car recommended -plenty of parking facilities. The swimming pool is 10m x 5m with a shallow and deep end (1.95m). It is floodlight at night and has a poolside shower. Pets allowed

Arrival/ Departure Saturday (or any other if agreed in advance with owner)
Arrival from 15.00 hours. In case of Delay it is essential to contact owner or person in charge of the keys within the a/m period in order to guarantee the respective delivery.
Departure until 10.00 hours
Any breakages or damages must be paid to the owner, against estimate of repair or replacement, whichever is applicable.
The rented object is to be left in the condition received
Should the number of persons occupying the object exceed the number of persons reserved / reconfirmed, the owner reserves the right to refuse admission.
Cots and highchairs can be arranged if asked in advance
The two sofa type beds, although confortable, are more suitable for children or teenagers.
Pets allowed.

25% deposit of the total amount due on reconfirmation of the booking. If deposits are not received within 21 days, reservation will be cancelled without previous notification
.The outstanding balance must be settled 30 days prior to commencing the rental period
Payment is accepted in the quoted currency, unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner.
Payments should be effected by:

Bank draft / cheque on a Portuguese bank
or
Postal order
or
Wire transfer (full payment can only be considered if transfer is free of all expenses for the beneficiary)
