Location
Vila Borboleta is located in the area of Mato Serrão, which is a gathering of several rather luxurious urbanisation. The centre of Carvoeiro is at sea level and Mato Serrão can be reached by taking the way up near to the sea to the top of the cliffs. The name of the urbanisation is "Quinta do Sol" and consists of a few nice, spacious and luxury villas. The area is very quiet, calm, peaceful and safe.

The villa is at 10 min walking distance from the centre of town, where you find a lot of restaurants, bars, shops, discos and where social life is going on 24 hours a day. In the immediate neighborhood there are a lot of restaurants: typical Portuguese fish restaurants, a succulent Belgian restaurant and an outstanding Dutch restaurant.

About 5 minutes driving distance there are a lot of excellent sports facilities: 3 super golf courses, famous tennis courts, a manège, a scuba diving school and places to rent mountain bikes, scooters, etc... New in the area are the family parks as Zoomarine, Slide & Splash, The Big One, Aquashow, Atlantic Water Park, Krazy World ..... And of course in the area is the possibility to take sea trips, water-ski, deep sea fishing and other water sports. Only a few minutes away there are several nice white sandy beaches, well protected by the cliffs. Often there are small fish restaurants on the beach or in the neighborhood.
