USEFUL INFORMATION
SURFACE SHIPMENTS - original B/L's, inventories, shipping instructions and shipper's contact address/phone number. should be in our possession prior to vessel arrival.

AIR SHIPMENTS - do not forward until we confirm availability of customs documents. Storage charges at air terminals are PROHIBITIVE.

REGULATIONS

Shipments originating from member state of Eurpean Community

• No documentation is required. We only require copy of passport, inventory and T2L form.

Other countries

Lisbon

• "Certificado de bagagem" issued by the nearest Portuguese Consulate at origin with a non evaluated list preferably written in Portuguese,
• "Residence certificate" issued by the nearest Portuguese consulate confirming that he has resided in the country of origin at least during the last twelve months, prior to client's departure to Portugal.
• EEC declaration supplied by RETTENMAYER.
• Declaration supplied by RETTENMAYER where date of arrival and other details are stated.
• Domicile certificate (atestado de residência) to be obtained by the client and issued by the Junta de Freguesia in which client's residence in Portugal is situated confirming the address and mentioning the date since when the client has resided there.
• Photocopy of passport (original may be required).
• Proof of application for residence permit no matter client's nationality (Portuguese are the only exception).

Porto

• The "Certificado de bagagem" must be compulsory issued in Portuguese or translated by customer and compulsory evaluated by customer.
• "Residence certificate" issued by the nearest Portuguese consulate confirming that he has resided in the country of origin at least during the last twenty four months, prior to client's departure to Portugal.
• EEC declaration supplied by RETTENMAYER.
• Declaration supplied by RETTENMAYER where date of arrival and other details are stated.
• Domicile certificate (atestado de residência) to be obtained by the client and issued by the Junta de Freguesia in which client's residence in Portugal is situated confirming the address and mentioning the date since when the client has resided there.
• Original passport, photocopies are not accepted.
• Only original residence permit is accepted.

MOTORCARS
Original registration certificate and title of property are required. Vehicle must have been in owner's possession at country of origin for at least six months before arrival of owner in Portugal. Obtention of Portuguese plate nr. and payment of duties and taxes to be dealt by client directly with a customs broker or with the A.C.P.

SHIPMENTS FOR FOREIGN DIPLOMATS
Diplomatic franchise should be obtained by the local Embassy.
